Grammy Award winner Angélique Kidjo Claims Iseyin, In Oyo State

In a recent radio interview in Lago the Grammy Awards winner, Angélique Kidjo, said she is a Nigerian from Iseyin, a town in Oyo State.

The songstress, was born in Benin Republic, but recently disclosed that she is a Nigerian in an interview with Smooth FM 98.1 FM, in Lagos State.

Kidjo said her mother worked as a choreographer and theatre director also disclosed this to her.
